Men's Day Giveaway

        On December 3, 2020 Andy King, Bronx Youth Empowerment Program, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc, the 47th Precinct Clergy Coalition and Power Of Influence Award Icons sponsored an amazing event specifically for our men in the community. The conversation was "we stand together".  It was amazing watching men take care of each other, help each other, assist one another to match suits, stop and say a group prayer, etc..... At this "Men's Day Giveaway" men in the community were given free suits, shoes, ties, hats, coats, socks, belts, snacks and so much more. They were even given a free haircut. The event was held at the United Church of Jesus Christ on Bronxwood Avenue. Special guests were Rob Garris(Retired Humanitarian Boxer), Melle Mel(Hip Hop Icon), Mysone(Hip Hop Artist and Activist), Pastor Lamonte S Granby and Iran Barkley(Retired World Boxing Champion). Everyone (young and old) were very thankful and were able to
 leave with just about whatever they chose. The Bronx Rocks!
