Flashback: Sitting here eating some red herring, anchoba, avocado & egg ....
I remember coming from school in Barbuda. We all had to wear uniforms. So, mine was Khaki and a navy blue dress.. I remember coming from Low Mission with my cousin Kingsley and passing the Bread Shop. I think it was Mrs. Knight or Aunt Katherine. Then going home with hot, fresh bread with the melted margarine, cheese, soda pop, buns, etc..... Memories in Barbuda Flashback
When to a church and it was time to go up for prayer and healing. Paster lays hands on me, meaning, Palm of hand with oil on my forehead. He's praying that the POWER of the Holy Spirit........................ ... But he's physically, with the palm of his hands pushing me to the ground. And because I wouldn't drop to the floor, he pushes me really hard and the two helpers pull me to the floor. Wow. Like that's the power of GOd? Stop it! I believe in God/Christ/Holy Spirit but that was hilarious. So there I was pushed on the floor. Practically mushed and LAUGHING. Thinking, "No he didn't just chuck me to the floor." Trust that I believe in the power buth THAT wasn't it. |
