Not On My Watch (NOMW) Incorporated held their Human Trafficking Awareness Training on January 13 at Bridgefield Civic League. This workshop had speakers giving their personal stories of themselves or loved ones. Thank you Community Police Relations(CPR) Foundation and Not On My Watch (NOMW) Incorporated for making me apart of this event. There were also speakers who specialize in bringing awareness to trafficking as well as teaching attendees how to obtain help and keeping our communities safe. Participants also received Certificates of Completion. Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark; Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson and representatives of local officials were present in full support in keeping our Bronx safe. There were also awards distributed from the office of the New York City Public Advocate, Jumaane D. Williams. Honorees were Pamela Damon, the Executive Director of Not On My Watch, Inc.; Christopher James, High Place Communication Writing Services; Grace Ugalde Wolpert, Chief Operating Officer at Community-Police Relations Foundation; Al Eskanazy, the Founder and President of the Community Police Relations(CPR) Foundation; Stephen Knoepfler, Chief of the Human Trafficking Unit Special Victims Division and Yolanda Briu, Bronx Human Trafficking Task Force Coordinator.
