Omyma David(tan scarf) and Beverly Benjamin-George who are both members of ABCRE( Antiguans & Barbudans For Constitutional Reform & Education) shared some wonderful words of wisdom. David spoke about (ptsd) post traumatic stress syndrome and the use of alcohol as a coping mechanism. We all agree that Barbudans are in need of counseling due to this traumatic event. "Use Social Media Responsibly." Omyma David "Be sensitive to all of the issues that are going on." Omyma David Beverly Benjamin-George (an attorney and Barbudan by descent) spoke about concerns with inventory, what she observed when going to Barbuda and doing what we can do. She explained that "being there makes a difference." She felt a sense of fear when present in Barbuda. "The Barbuda that I grew up with, they(my grandparents) did not wait on the government to do anything for them." Beverly Benjamin-George "We help any way that we can."
